ALLIGATOR EATING PYTHONS???!!! Holy serpentes pythonidae, Batman! Where are my python boots?
But us regular folks
Who might wear tennis shoes
Or an occasional python boot
Know this exquisite little inconvenience
By the name of:
STINK FOOT
Y'know, my python boot is too tight
I couldn't get it off last night
--- Frank Zappa
There's a reason to love the temperate zone.

I agree about the pythons - it's getting scary down here near the Everglades... check out the link of a python eating 6' alligator!

It's a puzzle.
How can Caroline Kennedy be old enough to be on the cover of AARP Magazine when
super model Cindy Crawford just turned 42? Of course, the $64,000 question
should be, who cares?
Have you heard about the Giant Burmese Pythons down in Florida? Introduced into
the wild by irresponsible pet owners, they lay about 100 eggs at a time, can
grow up to 23 feet in length and weigh 250 pounds. Scientists estimate there
are over 30,000 non-native giant snakes living in Florida where the Burmese
Python will gladly eat a deer or a gator because back in its native habitat
their natural predators are lions and tigers - Florida-wise, predators don't
really make the grade. And these pythons can crawl at a staggering rate of 100
miles --- a month! OK, so the rest of us have distance working in our favor,
but one just turned up in Vero Beach.
Mary, check under the bed before you turn off the lights. Mary, Mary where you
goin' to? That's a line from an old Monkees song by Mike Nesmith. The Monkees
debuted 42 years ago. Mike was born in 1942.
Fidel Castro turned control of Cuba over to his brother after ruling for 42
years. Let's put that in context, Cindy Crawford just turned 42. My brother
never gave me anything of note; but old Fidel's gift has to have a down side.
How many years could Raoul possibly have left, considering he's from the same
gene pool as Fra Fidel?
42, that number crops up a lot. If you read The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
(or saw the movie), 42 is the answer to life, the universe and everything.
Although how Cindy Crawford fits into the equation I'm not quite sure.
Sleep tight Spartans, don't let the Giant Burmese Pythons bite.
Marvin
PS/ Actually, Pythons squeeze and then swallow whole.
PPS/ Like THAT'S more comforting!

I like to keep a bottle of stimulant handy
in case I see a snake, which
I also keep handy.
