[Otclassof1973] Front Row seats

I remember getting in line just a few hours before the box office opened at college and getting fourth row seats to Cat Stevens, 7th row seats for the Beach Boys and front row seats for The Doobie Brothers and Chick Corea, among others.  I got so spoiled I can't really enjoy a show sitting farther back than 25 rows, so I rarely go to big acts any more.  Most live music I see now are local acts.

  Thanks for checking.  Remember when you could get in line (not online) the day tickets went on sale, and buy front row seats to any show without having to think about what games the scalpers were playing?

  In searching the central jersey Craig's List, I found General Admission (floor) seats -- $600 for a pair.

  Whew.  At least these are less than the seats I looked up for Clapton at the Arts Center on 5/22, they were $1250 per seat (and up)
